GP Principals are GPs who are also partners at the practice.
GP non-principals are GPs who are employed by the practice but are not partners.
GP Registrars are qualified doctors who have usually worked in hospitals for at least 24 months and are in training for General Practice. On completion of they training they will become General Practitioners.
MMC or F2 are qualified doctors who will have completed at least 12 month training in hospitals. These doctors are usually doctors in training most of whom are intending to specilise in specialities other than General Practice. Early on in their careers they therfore spend some time (usually four months) training in the General Practice environment.
