Quality and Outcomes Framework

The quality and outcomes framework  (QOF) is part of the new general medical services contract for GPs.

It is a system to remunerate general practices for providing good quality care to their patients, and to help fund work to further improve the quality of health care delivered.

We are pleased to be able to publish our achievement in this area on our website.

We are pleased to have achieved 99.8% of the quality and outcome framework in the year ending April 2007.  This results was above both the PCT and England average for all practices.  For a more detailed review of our performance in the quality and outcome framework for this year please visit the NHS Information Centre website where you can view our performance in much more detail and also compare this against the PCT and England averages.
